Kerja sama Universitas Bengkulu (UNIB) dan Universitas Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) sudah berjalan dengan sangat baik. Beberapa highlight pelaksanaan kerja sama UNIB – UMK selama 2018 – 2019 antara lain:
Aktivitas utama: Networks, student exchange, staff exchange and research collaboration
NETWORKS: UNIB and UMK are both active in Regional Network on Poverty Eradication (RENPER) and ASEAN Learning Network (ALN)
RENPER The network was launched by the Minister of Higher Education, Malaysia, in October 2010 in conjunction with the UNESCO World Decades of Poverty Eradication. An inaugural seminar was organized by UMK. RENPER aims at strategizing, energizing, and synergizing ideas and efforts by academicians, individually or institutionally, in poverty eradication within the region. UNIB Rector, Dr Ridwan Nurazi is a current President of RENPER ASIA.
STUDENTS EXCHANGES/MOBILITY PROGRAM
UNIB are regularly sending students to UMK for exchange program, mainly for Community Srvices Program and Short-term study.
UMK students also came to UNIB for short-programs
Student mobility In 2019:
– 8 students of UNIB are conducting Community Services Program” for one month
– 6 students of UNIB were joining boot-camp in entrepreneurship at UMK and Prince of Songkla University (PSU), with program “One Tambun (area) One Product”
– 4 students of UNIB were joining SEED (Social Enterprise for Economic Development) at UMK
Student mobility In 2018:
– 6 students of UNIB are conducting Community Services Program” for one month
– 5 students of UNIB were conducting a short-term study with one main activity was designing Business Plan.
STAFF VISIT
– UMK staff visiting and giving lectures at UNIB in many occasions
– UNIB staff were conducting visiting and lecturing at UMK

RESEARCH COLLABORATION
– In 2019, UNIB and UMK signed a MoA for research collaboration (between Dr Yohan Kurniawan at UMK and Dr Titiek Kartika (Social Sciences))
OTHER
– E-student colloquium
Pada tanggal 7 Agustus 2019, Rektor UNIB, Dr Ridwan Nurazi, secara khusus diundang ke UMK untuk pembicaraan lebih mendalam terkait kerja sama. Di samping itu, dalam pertemuan ini, pihak UMK mengundang 8 universitas lain dari Indonesia. Karena itu, pihak UMK mengharapkan UNIB dapat berbagi pengalaman pelaksanaan kegiatan selama ini.
Dalam pertemuan ini pembicaraan, pihak UMK dipimpin langsung oleh Vice Chancellor Prof Noor Azizi. Kerja sama dibahas lebih jauh. Pihak UMK menyiapkan matching fund untuk pelaksaaan penelitian bersama.
Di sela-sela pertemuan, Rektor UNIB berkesempatan bertemu dengan 8 orang mahasiswa UNIB yang sedang melaksanakan Program Mobility – International Community Service di UMK. Program yang dilaksanakan berjalan dengan baik.
